FREE Mini Heart Keychain Crochet Pattern

Materials:

-Weight 4 Yarn (I used Loops and Threads Impeccable (the color I used is unfortunately no longer available))(yarn available here: https://amzn.to/3Smgm7H)

-Preferred hook size (I used 3.75mm)(available here: https://amzn.to/3lxwWUv)

-Yarn needle (available here: https://amzn.to/3z08oGC)

-Stitch marker (available here: https://amzn.to/3TyN9p0)

-Stuffing (available here: https://amzn.to/40wnRKx)

-Optional: keychain materials (available here: https://amzn.to/3S2XY2l)

Abbreviations:

-rnd(s)= round(s)

-ch= chain

-sc= single crochet

-mr= magic ring (or magic circle)

-sl st= slip stitch

-inc= sc 2 in the same st

-dec= sc 2 together

-fo= finish off

PATTERN:

Rnd 1: sc 6 into a mr (6)

Rnd 2: inc in each st around (12)

Rnds 3-4: sc 1 in each st around (12)

-Fo, repeat rnds 1-4 but do not fo the second time

-After finishing rnd 4 the second time, sl st into the first piece to connect the pieces together, then work as if they are one to continue the next rnds

Rnd 5: sc 1 in each st around (24)

-Use one of the yarn tails to sew the hole at the top closed

Rnd 6: dec, sc 3 and repeat around until 4 sts remain, dec once, sc 2 (19)

Rnd 7: dec, sc 2 and repeat around until 3 sts remain, dec once, sc 2 (14)

Rnd 8: sc 1 in each st around (14)

Rnd 9: dec, sc 1 and repeat around until 2 sts remain, dec once (9)

Rnd 10: sc 1 in each st around (9)

Rnd 11: dec around until 1 st remains, sc 1 (5)

-Fo with a long tail and sew closed
